An old presbytery with a garden and an outstanding view over the river in a village in the Anjou area dominating the Loire.
In a village with shops and amenities. Near to several TER regional train stations with links to Angers and Nantes. 15 km from a small town also with all amenities. Forty or so kilometres from Angers and some fifty kilometres from Nantes.
Vehicle and pedestrian gates flanked by stone pillars, on a little village square, provide access to this presbytery. The pedestrian gate opens into a garden courtyard which takes up the area in front of the house. A door on the side of the west gable wall leads from this courtyard to a terrace which runs alongside the back facade and looks down on the garden dominating the river Loire. The vehicle gates open into another courtyard, flanked by a garage, copses, the east gable wall of the presbytery as well as a second terrace that also dominates the Loire, a lawned garden as well as an old stone and brick outbuilding. A vaulted passageway under the second terrace leads to a garden behind the presbytery, which provides access to three vaulted cellars laid out under the house.
The presbyteryThis presbytery, constructed from stone and lime-rendered quarry stone blocks, spans three levels, the top one of which is under a slate hip roof featuring four roof dormers. The rectangular, east gable wall is flanked by a two-storey building, topped with a single sloped, slate roof. The framing around the openings, the quoins, the cornices and the roof dormers are all made of freestone. The entrance door is arched; all the openings in the main building have shutters. The central bay is crowned with a triangular pediment featuring an oculus.

Ground floor
The vestibule, with its painted cement floor tiles, is currently in use as an office. It leads, on one side, to a lounge, on the other, to a dining room and provides access to a hall area that goes to the main wooden, quarter turn, one-flight stairway as well as a toilet. The lounge and the dining room have south-facing windows and north-facing French windows opening directly on to the terrace which dominates the Loire. Both these rooms have strip pattern parquet flooring, a marble fireplace and a ceiling adorned with moulding and a rosette. Two steps go down from the dining room to the kitchen which has an old potager (a secondary hearth where soups and other previously prepared dishes were cooked on embers) and a freestone fireplace. This room, with exposed beams and terracotta floor tiles, is illuminated by windows facing north, south and east. A second wooden, one-flight stairway goes up to the first floor.

First floor
The landing provides access to four bedrooms and a toilet. All the bedrooms have strip pattern parquet flooring and two of them have a marble fireplace. One of these bedrooms has a shower and a wash-hand basin; another one has a shower room with a toilet; the last one has a bathroom with a toilet that communicates with a linen room. The latter can also be reached from the kitchen via the second stairway.

Second floor
The landing provides access to two bedrooms, a shower room, a toilet and a study. Said study has a door leading to an attic and to a room, currently used as storage space. The beams of the roofing framework are exposed; some of the rooms have terracotta floor tiles.

The outbuildingsThe outbuildings comprise a large garage with an attic, under a slate gable roof and a small stone and brick building awaiting restoration. There are also three cellars, spanning 35, 23 and 21 m², under the presbytery. The first is vaulted and made of freestone, one of the other two includes a well. All can be reached via the garden or via an internal stairway.
